Literary Services
School visits
As an experienced drama teacher and professional performer, Anne can bring animated readings, music, drama and puppetry to your primary classroom, and hopes to inspire in your pupils the desire for a lifetime of reading adventures. Her splendid Clawbeak puppet (photo) usually accompanies her on visits to primary schools.
She can also provide author talks and writing workshops for secondary school student and will present age appropriate material.
Literary Festivals
Anne may be available for guest appearances at Literary Festivals.
Workshops and Seminars
Anne offers a variety of writing workshops including ‘Turning Somersaults on the Page’ a three hour workshop for adults who are writing for children.
Judging
Anne has judged several poetry, children’s writing and story-telling competitions and may be available for judging competitions.
Literary Assessment
Anne is an experienced assessor of stories for children, and may be available for literary assessments.
Mentorships
Anne may be able to offer extended mentoring to children’s writers whose manuscripts she had assessed, and found to have good potential for publication.
